Spring has sprung.
And many of us are in need of a spring adventure. Or a road trip, mini-vacation, stay-cation, or something to help us shake off Winter.
It’s time for other things, such as refreshing your mind, body, and soul.
Here are some wonderful choices for your next adventure back into the world.

In Search of a Spring Adventure
Morocco.
I’ve had so many friends tell me how lovely it is to visit Morocco. There are so many things for you to do, and pretty much everything is at your fingertips.
Travel essentials:
- flowy dress
- large hats
- sunglasses
- sunscreen
- Breathable shirts-such as light cotton, or linen
- Light sweater for cooler evenings
Oregon Coast
I am desperately in love with the Pacific Northwest, so of course I’ve got to add this little tidy. Seaside, Netards Bay, oh the list goes on and on. The beaches are quite cold but they are as beautiful as many beaches are. Haystack Rock, a sight to be seen.
Travel Essentials:
- comfy joggers
- flip flops
- windbreaker
- headscarf
- sunscreen.
- comfy shoes
- reading tools (books, or tablet)
- reusable water bottle
Cartagena, Colombia
Colombia is such a beautiful country. Lovely people and delicious food. It’s also full of plenty of things to do and see while you’re relaxing and refreshing off the winter.
Travel Essentials:
- Light clothing
- sunscreen
- light jacket /or cardigan
- nice flowy pants made of linen or cotton.
(of course, you’re going to pack essentials like deodorants, meds both prescription and over-the-counter, etc. The list I’m giving are ideas to help you based upon the weather you might encounter.)
Iceland
I know, Iceland? But hear me out! As an avid Scandinavian Thriller, Mystery, and crime book reader there is something dark, and mysterious about Iceland.
But there is also something majestic. Rich in history, culture, and life, Iceland isn’t a place to go if you’re looking for big theme parks, it’s a place to go if you want to see what the world has to offer.
Be sure to take a peek at this magnificent cultured country.
Travel Essentials:
- Flannel shirts
- cotton shorts
- sweater for the evenings/wind breaker
- comfy shoes and socks
- high-quality camera
- sunscreen
- journal
Maldives
Tropical holiday destination in the Indian Ocean. The islands are stunning and very released. They offer an experience that can be as close to being stranded on a desert island as you can but better. Accommodations that feel luxurious, amazing food, and a lot of things to do.
Travel Essentials:
- Sunscreen
- bathing suit
- large sunglass/hat
- sandals

Lisbon
Portugal is probably the best choice, in my opinion. You can enjoy the uplifting warm temperatures, maybe the warm beaches and of course shopping.
This time of year is perfect to visit Lisbon, or anywhere in Europe for that matter. Not only can you soak up culture and art but you can avoid the super rushed, large summer crowds.
Travel Essentials:
- Sunscreen
- comfy shoes
- light cotton clothes
- translator app
