I’m watching Magnolia Table, wrapped in a blanket and all I can think about is lunch. Which is odd because normally when I watch cooking shows I don’t get hungry, maybe inspired but not hungry. The other day as I was walking to my car the sky opened up and poured rivers if water down upon me. I tried walking under the trees to block some if it but that wasn’t so smart. See it’s autumn now and the lèves are falling. In the bright side my two week old head cold turned into a sinus infection , oh the bright side. My cough stopped and I got my voice back. Today was difficult to start My headspace was off and it was hard to get clear headed. So, I took some of my homemade pumpkin purée and made some pumpkin bread. That didn’t work So I went on a long long walk through the countryside. It was heartbreaking. At times I Love where I am but I realised I’m not living I’m in limbo. And that’s not ok. I shouldn’t be stuck in the house afraid to go outside or to answer my phone. I should be free, and breathe. I was watching Mobland, and realised I’m Jan. I am in a situation I’m trying to make better. A bit like polishing a turd. But the more I polish the worse it gets. My bread is smelling good. And thankfully it gave me a sense of peace. Allowed me to vent the strange rambling above and remind myself being not ok is f£%#*!?
